Building the Tabernacle

Big Idea:

• Israel brings more than enough materials for the Tabernacle, and Moses tells them to stop bringing offerings.

• Israel builds the Tent of Meeting.

Jesus in This Chapter:

This chapter just highlights the point I made about the last chapter.  Israel offered the materials for the Tabernacle willingly and – it seems – very generously. Jesus also made his sacrifice willingly.  He chose to subject himself to the cross, and He made that choice motivated by joy. And because of his willing sacrifice, we have new life.
