Genesis 2 — Sketch

Big Idea:⁠

• God sees Adam is lonely.⁠

• God creates Eve.⁠

• God institutes marriage.⁠

⁠Jesus in This Chapter:⁠

• God took a lifeless pile of dirt and breathed into it to create a living man — Jesus takes our sinful hearts and transforms them into his righteousness.⁠

• Adam slept with a hole in his side so that God could give physical life to Eve — Jesus died with a hole in his side to give spiritual life to us.⁠
