Noah’s Rough Day

Big Idea:

• God makes a covenant with Noah.⁠

• Noah gets drunk and naked and passes out.⁠

• Noah’s son Ham makes fun of him.⁠

• Noah’s other sons, Shem and Japheth, politely cover him up.⁠

• Noah sobers up and curses Ham’s family but blesses Shem and Japheth.⁠

Jesus in This Chapter:

God’s rainbow is a reminder to us of the covenant He has made with us – the covenant that is only possible because Jesus deals with our sin for us.⁠
